In the
summer of 2010 PG&BL performed some much-needed structural repairs to Bug
Light. You may have noticed the workers.
The steel hand railings and hoisting arms were repaired, and doors
and windows were replaced.
Now we need
to paint The Bug.
In the past, committee members and volunteers
scraped and painted the lighthouse. Due to strict environmental statutes
governing these types of activities, this is no longer possible and
professional contractors are required.
