Project Gurnet and Bug Lights, Inc. invites you to join us on Sunday, June 12, 2011, for The Don Muirhead Annual Lighthouse Cruise--a fundraiser for Project Gurnet and Bug Lights.  The cruise will last from 5:30-7:30 leaving from the Plymouth Town Wharf. The boat may be boarded at 5:00. Tickets must be bought in advance, and will be available on this website soon or from local committee members. The price is $50 per person.
 
Weather permitting, the boat will come within sight of both The Gurnet (Plymouth Light), and Bug Light (Duxbury Pier Light). There will be delicious hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar.

As is written in our Mission Statement: The purpose of this corporation shall be to operate a non-profit organization which shall be actively engaged in the restoration, preservation and maintenance of both the Plymouth Light Station (Gurnet Light and the Keeper’s Cottage) and Duxbury Pier Light (Bug Light), and to encourage public awareness and support of these unique historic monuments to our nautical past.

We continue to raise funds to accomplish the goals of our Mission Statement. Last year we were able to have Bug Light restored structurally. This year we are hoping to raise enough money to paint The Bug.
